What is Eden Bondi Meals?

We are a meal delivery service that deliver fresh meals straight to your door each week. Our nutritionists and chefs have created whole-food plant-based dishes which contain beautiful fresh produce so that you can live your very best life.

You can purchase our meal boxes on a subscription basis, meaning when you purchase a meal box, you will automatically receive a new one again each week until you pause or cancel your subscription.
The recurring payments for each subscription will be processed automatically based on your subscription status on a weekly basis, usually on Fridays at around 11:30pm.

You can select your meals for the upcoming week and up to 7 weeks in advance. Please bear in mind that we are constantly evolving our menu and if you have selected a meal that we discontinue in several weeks time, the system will select a meal for you that is most similar to the one you had selected. However, you can always change your meal selections until 6pm on Fridays in the Manage Subscription area.

Where are your meals cooked?

We are based on Bondi Beach. Our meals are cooked from our 100% plant-based restaurant, Eden Bondi

Can I choose my own meals?

Absolutely. We have a delicious menu which evolves seasonally. New meals will continually be added, so keep an eye out.

How can I sign up to Eden?

Simply go to our homepage, edenbondimeals.com. You can then enter your details and create an account. Then simply select the meal plan you’d like to go with (7, 10, 15 or 20) and select your meals. You then enter your delivery address and payment information and we’ll take care of the rest.

Is there anything I should know before I order?

When you select a meal plan, you are signing up for a recurring subscription that will automatically renew each week unless you pause or cancel your subscription.
You can self-manage nearly every aspect of your subscription by logging in and going to Manage Subscription.
The cutoff day for meal selections and pausing your subscription is 6pm Fridays. We deliver the following Tuesday and need that advanced notice to ensure our produce suppliers are able to get us the right amount of fresh and highest quality ingredients in time!

If you select meals for weeks in advance, please take into consideration that sometimes we will discontinue meals from our menu as we are rotating our menu based on seasons and when certain ingredients are at their highest quality. Any future meals that you have selected that we remove from the menu will be replaced by similar ones but we strongly suggest double checking your meal selections each week to ensure you will receive the exact ones you want. If you're out of town for a week or two, or simply don't want to receive Eden Bondi Meals for a period of time, you can easily skip a week of delivery or pause your subscription to stop being charged and stop receiving meals.

Every Tuesday from 9am to 9pm

How can I select the meals I would like for my upcoming order/s?

Simply log in to your account and then select Manage Subscription from the menu bar. You will see Select Your Upcoming Meals/Update Your Info in a grey box below your current subscription information. Click that to expand it.

Click Select Your Upcoming Meals
Then choose Make your selections/Edit meal selections and select your desired meals using the + or - to adjust their quantities. You will already have the meals from your past order selected so if you’d like to switch them for something else, just click the - to remove any selections and the + to add meals that you’d prefer. Then click Save Selections.

The order date shows the next date that meal selections will be open until at 6pm (to be delivered the following Tuesday).
You can hit Skip order on the right of the Select Your Upcoming Meals menu to be excluded from receiving orders for those respective dates.

How do I pause/cancel my subscription

Simply log in to your account and then select Manage Subscription from the menu bar.

To PAUSE or RESUME your subscription: Go to Current Subscription Status in the bottom right of your current subscription box and select either PAUSE subscription or RESUME subscription.

To CANCEL your subscription: You will see Select Your Upcoming Meals/Update Your Info in a grey box below your current subscription information. Click that to expand it.
Select Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the list and then select the red box that says Cancel Subscription. This is handy if you have duplicate subscriptions in your account and wish to clear out those duplicates to avoid confusion for future orders.

How are Eden meals so healthy?

Each meal has a full macronutrient breakdown and the perfect balance of carbohydrates, protein and fat you should aim for daily. Plus our meals are loaded with so many amazing minerals and vitamins so that you look and feel great and can live your best plant-powered life!

Are your meals vegan?

Yes! All of our meals are 100% vegan.

Do your meals contain gluten?

Some of our meals do you contain gluten however most do not.

Do your meals contain oil?

We use extra olive oil sparingly in our meals. Other oils may be present so please check ingredients.

Is your packaging recyclable?

At Eden Bondi Meals, we are on a Zero Waste mission and we are extremely conscious of our carbon footprint and minimising waste. Our purpose driven restaurant promotes sustainability. All of our packaging is either recyclable, partly compostable or partly reusable! We have searched the market to find a non-plastic packaging solution however there is nothing on the market available to us yet. The initial plan was to launch Eden Bondi Meals with sugarcane pulp, which is 100% compostable and biodegradable. However, after thorough research and testing of the meals in these products, we established that they are not safe for human consumption unless consumed within 3 hours of packaging. This is because the moisture from the food is absorbed from the sugarcane, with the potential to cause adverse health effects. We are working very closely with our supplier and as a team, working very hard to find a more sustainable solution which will be available in a matter of months.

We kindly ask you to return plastic packaging to us so we can reuse again and again because even if it’s damaged, plastic can still have another lease on life. We have made it as simple as possible to return your packaging, free of charge.

Here is a summary of our current solution:

Tray and seal:

- Our meals are packed in 100% recyclable trays. The sticker and seal is 100% BPA free. These types of plastics are safe to heat and can be directly recycled which means they don’t end up in landfill or oceans.

The box & ice Packs:

- Our box is 100% recyclable and reusable. Our ice packs are non-toxic, 100% reusable and water soluble. These are also 100% recyclable and reusable and BPA free.
- Our thermal liners are also 100% reusable and great for a picnic basket if you’d like to keep one. Ideally, we would love for you to send us back the trays, ice packs, thermal liners and the box each Tuesday when your next delivery is delivered. This way we can reuse them again for another delivery. Alternatively, if you forget to leave them outside, or pause your subscription, the cardboard box, ice packets and thermal liners can be dropped in the designated recycle boxes at your local Coles and Woolworths where they will be repurposed.

How are my meals individually packaged?

All our meals are packaged in microwavable containers with a plastic film. The trays are microwave-safe, do not release BPA when heated, and are made with a manufacturing process that is 30% cleaner than other plastic manufacturing. This type of plastic can be directly recycled, significantly reducing its carbon footprint and ensuring it does not end up in landfills or our oceans.

How long do your packages stay fresh after delivery?

We design our packages to withstand 12 hours in the box after being delivered. Please note, when you receive your Eden Bondi Meals package, it is not unusual for your gel packs to be partially melted. You just need to make sure that the meals are still cool to the touch. We recommend meals are consumed within 5 days from delivery. We cannot guarantee a longer shelf-life as we are not using any harmful preservatives in our meals.

Do I need to be at home to receive my meals?

No you don’t! Our couriers will leave the meals outside your door ready for when you come home.

Are you taking any extra measures to ensure safety of customers during the COVID-19 outbreak?

At Eden we pride ourselves in applying the highest measure of hygiene at all times. To ensure safety of our staff and customers, our chefs now use gloves and face masks at all time. While we would usually offer the option to pick up, sanitise and reuse our containers and boxes, due to the COVID-19 outbreak this option is currently unavailable as health and safety of our staff and customers is our utmost priority.
